- If your shade needs to clear a door handle or other obstructions, a reverse roll is recommended and can be selected for free to have your fabric feed over the top rather than the back.
- Enhance your setup with a valance atop your shade.
- Add Light Gap blockers (Side Channels) to reduce light leakage from the sides of your shades. These are easy to attach to your window with a sticky backing and are best used on inside-mounted, fully recessed shades.
- Considerations:
- A reverse roll is incompatible with a valance.
- Inside-mounted roller shades will typically have a 1" vertical "light gap" on the cord-loop side and up to a 5/8" light gap on the other, due to the fabric being cut narrower than the top operating mechanisms.
